A Little Bit Of This, A Little Bit Of That

This post is going to be a little bit of everything, so I thought the title was fitting.  I officially got all my school work done on Thursday, so I could enjoy my weekend with babe, especially because we're celebrating his 31st birthday today!  Wine?  Check.  Beer?  Check.  Gift?  Check.  Card?  Check.  Cleaning done? Somewhat.  I took a break, so I could write this post.  So far, I cleared the counter tops because everything tends to congregate there.  I wiped down the counters and cabinets.  We have white cabinets and believe it or not, they get so dirty!  I folded my laundry and straightened up my fridge because it looked like a bunch of fraternity boys lived here.

I still have to clean the bathroom, vacuum, and wash the floors.  No big deal though.  Oh, I just looked up things that you can do with cake mix because we're already doing a ice cream cake and I have no cupcake filters, so I'm going to try these:

(Mine will be a spring cake mix and I will be frosting mine!)

I hope that ya'll have a blessed weekend!  I know I will! :)

Say What? I Actually Had A Great Day?

Yup.  Today was a great day!  We finally just got back from being out since about eight this morning.  Jason didn't give me any hassle about going out the door this morning.  In fact, he actually wanted to head out the door a whole hour and a half earlier than I had anticipated going out.  So, I knew this was going to be a great day.  We started out with our morning Dunkin Donuts run.  Jason and I went in for the first time in a very long time.  I wanted a couple of doughnuts and wanted to see what they had available.  I ended up with an Oreo and raspberry cheesecake doughnut and Jason had the Oreo cheesecake doughnut and boston cream.

Then, we took the long forty-five minute drive to Greenville.  When we arrived, we walked immediately down to the bubble tea house.  Jason and I love bubble tea, me a little more so than Jason.  I love adding pearls to my bubble tea.  They remind me of grape flavored gummy bears.  We both ordered pineapple flavored bubble tea.  Jason opted out of the pearls.

After we got our bubble teas, we walked around Reedy Falls Park for a little bit.  We only had a two hour parking limit.  So, we weren't there long.  I took some random, pretty pictures in Reedy Falls Park.

I don't know what it is about that tree, but I really liked it.

My Galaxy Note 4 takes awesome pictures.  Doesn't it?!

I really give props to the person who etched this into the rail at Reedy Falls Park.  This saying can't be more true.

Look how pretty these flowers are.  I love them.

After Reedy Falls park, we checked out Burlington Coat Factory.  It's not every day that we get to go up to Greenville and we don't have a Burlington Coat Factory in Anderson.  From there, we went to Haywood mall, so I could try to find a phone case for my Galaxy Note 4.  I wanted something a tad bit fancier than the standard cases they already have out.  It's hard to find a nice case for a phone that just came out not too long ago.  Lastly, we went to TGIF's for lunch.  I had a half of a rack of baby back ribs with coleslaw and Parmesan steak fries and Jason had a Jack Daniel's burger with fries.  I had two alcoholic beverages because theirs are super tiny.  I'm use to drinking the big girl drinks over at Texas Roadhouse.

Berry sangria

I forgot the name of this one, but this was my favorite out of the two.

Jason's Jack Daniels burger.

My baby back ribs, slaw, and Parmesan steak fries.

On our way home, Jason wanted to stop at Volcano which is a e-vape store.  Jason wanted to pick up more fluid for his e-cigarette.  He is trying to quit smoking.  I got a bigger size tank for mine and a pink head.  We purchased the flavors spearmint and cotton candy.  I do 8mg which is like smoking lights and Jason does 16mg which is like smoking regulars.  I started smoking the vaporizer due to my severe anxiety and stress which is a lot healthier than smoking cigarettes by far.  I find that it even relaxes me more than a cigarette would plus you get all the awesome flavors it comes in.

We're just going to relax at the house for the rest of the day.  I start back to school Monday, so I'm trying to make the most of this weekend.  Going to Greenville was my present to Jason for his birthday and next weekend, we are having a pizza party for him at our house.  He's a spoiled little brat, but I love him.  Tomorrow we are going over his mom and dads house to make the last trip to bring the rest of our stuff over.  Then of course, Sunday is Easter.  We will be over his mom and dads house all afternoon on Sunday.

What are you doing this weekend?!

Weekend Shenanigans

So, Jason has four days off from work for Easter and I couldn't be happier right now.  Next weekend, we are having a small get together at our house for Jason's birthday, but this weekend, I wanted to do something for him with just the two of us.  So, I'm taking him to Greenville for the day.  We're going to this Italian restaurant for calzone's.  It's a new place that we're trying.  Then, we are going to get some bubble tea down at the bubble tea house and walk around Reedy Falls Park.  We love going to downtown Greenville.  It's super beautiful.

I also want to get the last load of our stuff over to our house, so we'll probably do that Saturday pending rain.  Then of course, Sunday is Easter.  We will be going over Jason's mom and dads house for Easter dinner.  I'm glad this weekend will be filled with things to do for a change.  It's definitely much needed.  That's for sure!

I'm not looking forward to today though.  I have a doctors appointment with the workers comp doctor at 11:20 then I have physical therapy around 12ish.  I just want to get today over and done with.  So can't wait for this weekend!
